The second EURL training is about the detection and identification of Phyllosticta citricarpa, following the organization of the second EURL proficiency test about this pathogen (20Pcit).

This training will be fully organised online and is adressed to those participants who encountered some issues during the 20Pcit PT. 

The training will be organised during the second week of December 2021 - date to be confirmed.

A tentative agenda includes:

• Detection & identification of Phyllosticta citricarpa by morphology.
• Detection & identification of Phyllosticta citricarpa by molecular biology methods.
• A video with the demonstration on how to sample citrus fruits suspected to be infected by P. citricarpa, for DNA extraction followed by molecular methods.
