The EURL Proficiency Test for 2021 is based on the detection and identification of Phytophthora ramorum sensu lato, by morphology and by molecular biology methods.

This PT will be opened only to European Union National Reference Laboratories (EU-NRLs), and will start on mid-July with the call for registration. 

The shipping of the PT panels is planned by mid-October, and the deadline for sending back the PT results is by mid/end-November.

Moreover, the EURL will organise an online "informative session" addressed to EU-NRLs where the context of the PT and different aspects will be discusses, as well as the possible methods participants can use for the detection and identification of this pathogen.

Once the dates for the PT and the informative session are scheduled, the EURL will inform EU-NRLs by email and via the EURL website.
