LAURENT CONSENTINO, PhD
Laurent Consentino, PhD, works at AFNOR (the French standardization body) as project manager in the field of the microbiology of the food chain within the food-processing Department. Since 2023, he is the Committee Manager of ISO/TC 34/SC 9 « Food products -Microbiology » and the secretary of CEN/TC 463 « Microbiology of the food chain », Partner committees in charge of standardization in the field of microbiological analysis in the food chain at International and European level. He is also the secretary of the French national mirror committee AFNOR V08B « Microbiologie des aliments ». He conducted his PhD works to study Bacillus cereus iron homeostasis gene expression in vitro and in vivo at MICALIS institute, INRAE.
