ADVANCES IN NEMATOLOGY 2023
Hybrid event: December 7th 2023, London, UK
‘Advances in Nematology 2023' took place as a single-day hybrid event on Thursday December 7th hosted online and at The Linnean Society in central London.
This event was hosted by the Association of Applied Biologists Nematology Specialist Group and invited contributions from areas encompassing all the applied biology of nematology (molecular biology of nematodes or hosts, ecology, epidemiology, management of plant-parasitic nematodes, entomopathogenic nematodes and emerging diagnostic methods).
International Congress of Plant Pathology
August 20-25, 2023: Lyon, France
The 12th International Congress of Plant Pathology in Lyon, France from August 20-25, 2023! Plant pathologists and plant health researchers from around the world met to discuss their latest research as well as current and future issues facing plant health experts. The host, the French Phytopathological Society, set an exciting and challenging theme for the congress, “One Health for all plants, crops and trees”.

Association of Applied Biologists (AAB) hosted a one-day hybrid event hosted online and at The Linnean Society in Central London. This event was hosted by the Association of Applied Biologists Nematology Specialist Group and invited contributions from areas encompassing all the applied biology of nematology (molecular biology of nematodes or hosts, ecology, epidemiology, management of plant-parasitic nematodes, entomopathogenic nematodes and emerging diagnostic methods).

International Plant Health Conference 2022
21 – 23 September 2022: London, UK
The Conference was held in London, the United Kingdom on 21 – 23 September 2022 at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, co-organized by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) of the United Kingdom (UK) and the Secretariat of the International Plant Protection Convention of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
Representatives of the EURL for Plant Parasitic Nematodes, the EURL for Insects & Mites, the EURL for Fungi & Oomycetes, and the Policy Officer of DG Health & Food Safety, were present at the Conference, to develop relationship, discuss and form connections with other organisations in order to address new and emerging plant health challenges.
International Congress of Nematology
1-6 May 2022: Antibes Juan-Les-Pins, France
The 7th International Congress of Nematology, took place in Antibes Juan-Les-Pins, France from the 1st to 6th of May 2022.
The scientific program consisted of 32 concurrent sessions with 288 oral presentations, 12 workshops, 12 keynote speakers, and poster sessions with more than 500 presentations.
Representatives of the EURL for Plant Parasitic Nematodes were present to engage in the sessions and presentations of the Congress and to promote and integrate the EURL-NRL network within this international scientific environment to stimulate scientific exchange, new international collaborations and aquire up-to-date information in the field of nematology.
The 3rd EURL Annual Workshop of the EURL for Plant Parasitic Nematodes was held during the Congress and took place on the 5th of May 2022.
