The EURL for rabies is launching a call for participation in a rabies diagnostic proficiency test for 2023.

The test will be performed on a unique panel to evaluate rabies diagnosis conclusion on 10 samples using at least one of the following techniques:

•       FAT (Fluorescent Antibody Test),

•       RTCIT (Rabies Tissue Culture Infection Test)

•       Conventional RT-PCR

•       Real-Time RT-PCR

 6th January 2023: Deadline for registration
 14th May 2023: Deadline for administrative documents reception
 15th May 2023: Sending of proficiency test items
 19th June 2023: Deadline for receipt of results
 30th August 2023: Deadline for sending the report
